If the BB user downloads a supported APP, then yes.

You can't message someone that is using the BBM as that is only supported by Blackberry.

Get Google Talk and have them do the same.

Mms should work fine. I've sent pics back and forth to people with bb with no problem at all.

You can send both sms and mms messages from it.
