yea.. that's going to have to be fixed in a later version of the facebook app. I find that best way is to take the picture with the regular camera (that is, not from the "take picutre" button in the facebook app) and then just upload that using the facebook app or you literally just get a thumbnail on facebook.
awww that sucks~!
iphone and blackberry's default size is so much bigger and clearer!
i thought there wasn't anything droid COULDN't do...
THE INSANITY!!!!! ARRRGHHHH!!
The way I got around this was to send any pictures to Facebook via email. There's a special email address each FB user has that they can send an email with pictures attached to it and it will be automatically posted.
Just write in your "status update" as the subject and attach the picture to the email you want posted to your account. Presto! Large sized image uploads.
Sorry should have included that "minor" detail in the previous post. In a hurry...
From your FB home page, just click on the Update Status button and the click on the Photos icon to attach a photo. Next choose Upload Photo and then you should see a link for Or upload via email. A window will popup giving you your personalized upload email address.
Just remember not to give that email address out to anyone since anyone who has it can update your status. FB does not check where it's coming from.
I hated those small thumbnails, so I do as the previous posters do. Take a photo outside of the Facebook app, then view it and click on "Share" and upload to Facebook.
