I find that customization is the reason that modders keep rooting their devices. It is quickly becoming the "hip" thing to leave your device stock since it would stand to reason that most newer devices run fine with no lag. Newer devices have crazy specs and finally Google and OEMs are stepping up their game when it comes to the Android experience. However OEMs and Google are not providing us with a means to fully customize every aspect of our device. The new LockRings Mod is one great example of the awesome extra's you get when you root your device.
The LockRings are applied via Metamorph. You just download the lockrings app and choose your zip to apply in metamorph. This will change your framework so you will need to make sure that you have a complete nandroid backup before moving forward with this mod. The app includes over 100 awesome new lockrings.
