Just when we thought we knew every tidbit about the new Moto X from numerous leaks over the past several months, a new one pops up at the last second to surprise us. This evening, Motorola and Google will have their big launch party reveal of the Moto X, but before that we get to chew on a few more tasty morsels of data. Motorola just put up a couple of software tools which are new apps that are specifically tailored for the Moto X (and the new Droid series for Verizon).
The first is called Motorola Connect. This tool allows you to view and respond from your PC browser to incoming texts. Cool stuff!
The second is called Motorola Migrate. This one is pretty much self-explanatory. It allows you to transfer your contacts, call history, text messages, media, and other settings from your previous smartphone.
Both of these are available in the Google Play Store and the Chrome Web Store right now, although they are quite useless without the Moto X or one of the new Droids from Verizon.
Thanks for the tip, M4-NOOB!
