most contacts not showing up in hancent?

when i opened up to send a group text the part were i check to add my contacts, almost 90% of them don't show up in the menu?? just a few random people and they're un-alphabetized, yet they're in my contacts (actual contact icon) list??? anyone else have this problem or know what i'm doing wrong?

I have the same problem. I sent an email to handcent.

I noticed that all the contacts that mine showed were completely unsorted as well. I just searched for the one I needed and added it that way.

Seems like Handcent may not be fully ICS compatible like it claims.
