You'd most likely need to unroot before doing an OTA. Did you make a backup?

lol you can't make a backup unless your rooted.
I believe you can receive the ota if your rooted, I was able to when 2.2 was sent out, I just lost root afterwards. Just make sure all of the stock files are in place when it comes out. Removing root is fairly simple also, there are some stickies around here that will suit your needs.
