Moto Droid 1 Super Sluggish

Over the past several weeks, my phone has become super sluggish, sometimes not even working at all.

I've been using Launcher Pro (free) and have switched to Go Launcher (free) and both exibit the same problems w/ the screens slowly loading.

Sometimes I even have problems making a call. I use Google Voice for calls and text.

SD vard has 19.9 GB free and available space is 10.91. Internal storage is 31.0. I also use My Lock. Recently while in Vegas, I lost most of my pictures taken using the stock camera app. It wasn't saving the pictures and the phone was just freezing up.

Any ideas?

You should clear your data and cache i.e factory reset. It wont effect anything on your SD card, only data on the phone. Google would backup your contacts and the market will restore your apps. It will make your phone fast and snappy afterwords.

I'm rooted on my OG Droid and running Pete's Stock GB. 3.2.5
Life went from sluggish to fabulous.

I can certainly wait to the end of the year to upgrade. Will wait for the holiday specials to make my decision.

Sounds like you might want to take the factory reset advise above.
Not really sure how this works as I've been rooted and use SPRecovery to wipe data and cache since 1/2010.
