Moto G XT1072 problems.

I use a Moto G XT1072 and since I changed my SD card it has not allowed me to bring down my notification pane. Was so frustrated I tried to restore factory setting but it did not allow. And my home button doesn't work unless I press the minimise button first.. Need help guys...

All you did was change your SD card? Did you remove the SIM also while the phone was powers on? When you say the factory reset was not allowed, what do you mean by that? The option was not available, or it did not run?
