Moto G3 closing apps

I have just recently bought the Moto g 3 the one with 8gb memory and 1 gb of ram. So there are to ways in closing apps 1 is when the little X appears on the right corner and there's the other way where I can swipe left or right to close apps well I notice there are times when swiping the apps to close it doesn't close smoothly I get some lag or stutter then there are times is closes quick ?

I'm not sure what could be causing the stutter or lag you mention but it may be due to the limited amount of RAM (1GB on the 8GB model or 2 GB on the 16GB model), or that device's slower Snapdragon 410 processor, and that having more than just a couple apps open at once begins taxing the system.

So even if I got the moto g3 with the 2 gb of ram would do the same thing? I used to have a iPhone 4s and when swiping apps to close it would close smoothly and I think it's only 500mb of ram
