Moto. Splash screen gone. How to fix?

I have recently needed to get a new phone, so I needed to unroot it and restore the defaults. Needed to do so inorder to return to vzw. When I check the whole restart process. The liberty splash screen shows then the droid splash screen. How do I get the motorola splash screen back?

i did some more digging and found the answer here:
