MotoDroid having video playback problems

Hello folks! First day of Droid ownership and I'm already having to troubleshoot lol

My Droid is having issues playing back high quality videos. It doesn't matter whether it's on YouTube and in High Quality, or video recorded onto the SD Card from the Droid's own camcorder, it will either skip badly or fail altogether. It acts almost like a PC with too many programs running. My wife can be sitting beside me with her's, and it plays just fine. It was also working just fine earlier this evening.

I've installed a few apps, the latest being a motion detecting camera app, and Pandora Radio, both of which I've since uninstalled.

Any ideas?

First try downloading a task killer (free will do perfectly fine) and killing your background apps. MIGHT make a difference.

I don't think it's the apps in the background...idk really that's kind of odd...

It might just be a defective phone honestly...

Well, after hours of trying to figure out what was wrong, all it took was a simple restart. Thanks for trying though lol. Good way to get my first post out of the way...

Also keep in mind with phones of this caliber, if in doubt..pull the battery and give it a few minutes. Typically it cures what ails you.
