Motorola Abuses iPhones to Show Fragility of Smartphones [Droid Turbo 2 ShatterShield Video]

Verizon released a teaser video fro the new Droid Turbo 2. Their main purpose for this video was to show off their new ShatterShield technology. Of course, their creative marketing folks put together a dramatic video with great music in which we see several smartphones getting shattered from being dropped.

The video not so subtly points out that smartphones are too fragile right now. The funny thing is, there were more iPhones dropped in this video than any other smartphone. Nice jabs there Verizon and Motorola! :)

Just an interesting note. While on the phone with Verizon to claim my freebie replacement for my original Turbo under the Motorola Screen Assurance plan, the CSR accidentally pulled up the Droid Turbo2 Screen assurance plan first.

Wonder why Moto would need a screen assurance plan on a shatterproof phone? :p:D
