It looks like Motorola is still sticking to their more recent trend of supporting the modding community a bit better than they did under Sanjay Jha. According to the latest info, Motorola has added the new low-end Moto E to their Bootloader Unlock program. To be clear, only the US, Canadian, European, and Latin American versions of the Moto E will be the ones officially supported.
The Moto E's biggest target market is India, and there is no word yet on if their versions will benefit from the Bootloader Unlock program. We will keep you informed as more details arise. For now we will just have to wait.
