MKHB interviewed Dennis Woodside (CEO of Motorola) and I must say I am feeling better about the direction Motorola is going based on the interview. Motorola under new management seems to get it that it is about the consumers and you can tell by the moves they made over the past year. I am looking forward to what Motorola can do going forward.

Motorola x sounds like it was just the beginning....very excited where they can take motorola in the future.

I watched this live, it was totally bad ass! It had a lot of cool info about the Motorola Ara. If you're not familiar with it, its basically a phone where Moto is basically trying to created a socketed hardware standard. Basically, this would allow different manufacturers to create speakers, etc. and sell them independent of the phone. This would also allow you to do device upgrades later without buying a new phone.

One of my fav parts was when the guy asked the CEO how close Moto is with Google and he basically said they operate independent, and that Google doesn't really influence Moto. He then, like 2 sentences later, said something like "when we were looking at acquiring Motorola". Made me laugh. Guess he came from Google originally? :)

At least it wasn't a debut with some band with a guy wearing skinny jeans...:sly:

MAXXED OUT!!!
