David Schuster, Motorola Mobility's Senior Director of Software Product Management, just sent out a Google+ post late yesterday letting users know that Moto is still working on the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the venerable Droid RAZR HD, MAXX HD and RAZR M. He indicated that they have progressed well, but it would still take “a few more weeks."
It's amazing to realize that these very capable devices are from 2012. Both the Droid RAZR HD and the MAXX HD were replaced with the Droid Ultra and Droid Maxx last year. It's great to see that Moto still intends to support some of their older products for as long it makes sense to do so.
