Motorola multimedia station don't work

I just got this Motorola multimedia station and when I plugged my droid 2 into it said that the widget couldn't respond or whatever. I messed with it by taking the phone on and off a few times and now the weather icon is completly gone. I got some motorola tech on the computer and he said that if I pulled the battery it would return in about 16 minutes. It did not 40 minutes later so I contacted him and he said to try another station to see if it worked. I am home, it is night and I don't have another one to try. Anybody think they can help
