Motorola Officially Unveils Xoom 2 and Xoom 2 Media Edition Tablets in UK

It looks like that rumor we posted yesterday turned out to be accurate. Motorola just officially announced the new Xoom 2 and Xoom 2 Media Edition in the UK. Both tablets look fairly impressive and should please the hardcore crowd. Here are the specs of the tablets, and some pics to go along with the video above:
10.1 Inch Model - Geared for Enterprise and Corporate Users:
  • 1.2GHz dual-core processor (probably OMAP)
  • 1GB RAM
  • 16GB built-in storage
  • 5MP rear camera, VGA front
  • Android 3.2
  • Gorilla Glass
  • Splash-guard
  • 3D virtual surround sound
  • Enterprise-grade security with Active Sync for email, contacts, and calendar
  • USB and Ethernet ports
  • 599g Weight
8.2 Inch Media Edition Model - For Movies, Games and Media Playback - High-End Entertainment:
  • 1.2GHz dual-core processor (probably OMAP)
  • 1GB RAM
  • 16GB built-in storage
  • 5MP rear camera, VGA front
  • Android 3.2
  • Gorilla Glass
  • Optimized display for wide-angle viewing

not getting a wow factor at all from this release. Seems Asus stepped up their game but Motorola is pretty much releasing what the xoom should have been when it came out last year...
 
Hmm, I'm really not sure if I'm liking all these new corners... I guess it's OK on the razr but I'd much rather just have rounded...
