Motorola Razr XT912 Shuts off and turns on nonstop with no service

I woke up this morning and my Motorola Razr XT912 was running slow so I decided to power it off and restart it. After turning the phone off and powering it back on the phone was unable to establish a connection. I sat the phone aside and came back later to see the phone turning back on. As the morning went on the phone would turn on and shut off about every 3 - 5 minutes. Each time this happened I would not have any signal. I have read some post and a few Youtube video on unbooting the phone. I am not very nerdy so I was wondering if you could make any recommendation on how to fix this.
