Motorola to run Droid Super Bowl ad

Think about all the advertising revenue that has been saved thanks to Verizon's mega-push on the device. This should not come as a shock or a surprise.

I just watched that commercial and thought it was just odd. I think I found where Hooters got the idea for their uniforms, though

The 1984 ad was considered the best ad of all time in some article I read. The 1985 ad was the worst of all time. To answer the question, yes there was an Apple in 1984, it was the release year for the Macintosh PC brand which replaced the Apple PC branding.

Apple was actually established in 1976. (Not incorporated 'till early 1977, though).

The 1984 super-bowl ad was to introduce the Macintosh.
