There is an app in the market that is called seriesparaandroid all together no spaces, but its in spanish some movies have sub titles

Internet Archive: Digital Library of Free Books, Movies, Music & Wayback Machine has a fair amount of public domain movies and music available, along with other audio programs. Your phone's web browser can download those. I don't know of other specific apps though.

Free as in "stolen movies" is a discussion that will close this thread down in a heartbeat though.
