Moving icons ala iphone?

One feature that I miss from my iphone days was the ease of moving icons from one screen to another. Is there a way to drag a shortcut to another screen? I know I can move to the screen and then hold the icon to get it to pop up. BUt I am looking for a lazier way to do it.

Just drag the icon to the edge of whichever screen you're on- it'll move after a moment.

Long press an icon, wait for it to pop out, signaling it's ready to be moved, then drag and hold the icon near to the left or right of the screen. It should trade it to the next screen in a second or two.
