MTV celebration

It's been a couple days and all I've read is how MTV dropped the ball on celebrating it's 30th birthday. Well the MTV many of us knew is dead for sure. But that doesn't mean we can celebrate what it used to be. :icon_ banana:

So, it came to me( I appologize to the younger folks but, eh) let see what some of your favorite videos from the 80's were.

Alright everyone this isn't to debate wether MTV is good or bad, this is just to celebrate something that changed a generation.

This is one of my all time favorite videos, very innovative for its day and a great song as well.

I was born in 82 so I am a little young to truly remember New Wave but I love it. The music overall in the 80's wasn't spectacular but the one hit wonders were amazing. There is also something about 80's music that is just very nostalgic, like I said being born in 82 it's not like I remember a ton from the 80's but listening to New Wave just brings back so many memories, even recent memories. Something about the music just does it, does that make sense at all?

Never was an actual video for this song but one of my faves.

Colin Hay actually is a great singer songwriter still to this day, his solo stuff is great. But this is one of the most classic videos and songs ever.
