Muiltiple recipients texting using contact list?

Hi there, new Droid user here coming from BB, I'm wondering if theres a way to send a text to muiltple people by selecting contacts from the contact list? I know you can send muiltiple recipients by typing in the name in the "To" portion, and was wondering if theres an easier way.

Handcent lets you do that. The included messaging app does not AFAIK.

thanks! I got the app and its what i'm looking for. One more thing, any idea how to get rid of the messaging app that was on?

I don't know about getting rid of it, but, you can go into settings on the stock app and un-check notifications, so you don't get one from each app.
