Can I use the Motorola multimedia dock without having to take off my otterbox commuter?

the actual radio on the DX only requires headphones to be plugged in...so yes, you can still do it. it may be a little difficult, but it works. doing it right now just to check.

get a speaker with a headphone jack on it, and plug it in and you would be good to go.

The ezeStand XL will work with the Droid X even if you have the Otterbox case!
