Multiple Facebook Links in Contact

A bunch of my contacts, which are synced with Facebook, show multiple Facebook links in the contact.

For example, when I go to a contact, the choices are
Call mobile
Email other
Facebook profile
Facebook profile
Facebook profile
Facebook profile
Facebook profile

Notice how facebook profile is listed many times! This happens with many contacts, and the number of repeats is variable.

Any advice on a fix?

seems to be a known problem, the only fix it to disable and re-enable facebook sync (given that you cannot update facebook profiles locally on the phone you are not losing any information),
