music app trouble!!!

My music app is no longer showing anything. Its not the rom cause I flash 3 diff. Ones. My astro and root explore is viewing the sd card just fine. Noticed if I download a song it will show up in music app but when I unmount then mount sd card its gone(assuming reboot will do the same). I even tried transfering to download file and nothing. My music is in the downloads file on sd card please help!!!!!!!!

Try creating a "Music" folder in the root of the Sdcard and move your music there.
