Music Downloading

I'm fairly new to all this technology (old guy) so please forgive the apparent simplicity of this question. What is the best way and/or website to download music directly to my droid. I know I can move tunes from my pc to the phone, but my personal collection is pretty limited at this point. So I've decided I need to do some serious downloading over the next several weeks. I'm willing to pay reasonable prices (not into stealing), just looking for the best and easiest options. Thanks in advance for your anticipated help.

the Droid comes with an amazon mp3 app, of course you have to pay...

however, if you don't want to pay....i have no idea, lol.

good bump yeah?

Music Online Lite from the Market is one of my favorite Apps. Search a song by title, long press on the result(s) to play. Find the one you want and long press to download. Free and easy!

will definitely check this out. thank you!

That's it?? One app? Wow, you guys surprised me this time, LOL. I thought I was going to get inundated with so many options I wouldn't know where to start! C'mon man...lets get this train rollin'!!!! I know you guys got more, don't be holdin' out on me! Help an old guy out will ya?? Show me the goods man!!

BTW...this entire post is meant to be humorous, so don't be jumping all over me, I know how sensitive some people get.

I briefly checked out the Amazon mp3 store, but it seems selection was somewhat limited, unless I was doing something wrong (which is entirely possible). For example, I did a search for Kid Rock, and only one of his albums showed up, along with a bunch of other crap I had no interest in. What am I missing here?

Fildo is a good app only thing is you have to spell the song correctly so if a song is spelt mobbin and you put mobbing it won't find it

Amazon .mp3 is not limited. I don't know about the app but I purchase all my music on line from Amazon MP3 via computer and I can't believe what I can find in there. Which reminds me there's an old Lynyrd Skynyrd album I want. I'm going to download it right now.

Music Junk, Dont know if its still in the market though.

I still use that. It's been taken off the Android Marketplace but just search up "Music Junk apk" via Google and just download it directly onto your Motorola Droid.

Still works like a charm.

I have never used Shazam to purchase music, but it does tie into the Amazon store for mp3's. Hear a song you like on the radio, fire up Shazam, and figures out what tune is playing, gives a link to search for it on Youtube, and gives a link to find it on Amazon for purchase.

I think most tend to purchase tunes after hearing them, so if someone is playing something you are interested in you can easily tag it now, then pick it up later on.
