Music into playlists FROM COMPUTER

I have a lot of iTunes music I'd like to move into Playlists. I know how to move them into a Playlist on the Motorola Droid, but I have too much. I'd like to figure out how to do it on the computer.

I did create a Music Folder on the Droid, and put my music into various directories in that folder. It doesn't care what directory it is in. It's in an album corresponding to what the iTunes album was. But I want it into Playlists. How can I do that on a mass scale?

By the way, music I purchased in iTunes does play fine on the Droid. No need to remove the protection.

You know, not all my songs came over. Looks like the protected ones didn't come.

droid does not play protected music files. im sure there is or will be an app for that.

I use iTunes Agent to move my stuff to the Droid. Works well and let's me continue to use iTunes to arrange my listening.
