I copied a bunch of music from laptop to droid via usb connection. most of it is showing but some songs aren't in music folder. Search comes up blank but if I plug back into my pc I can see the songs there. How do I find them?

Download Astro (or some other file manager) that will allow you to scan your SD Card and look for the files.
Most likely, if you can see them while tethered to your laptop, you will also be able to see them with Astro.
Question... are these songs that are copied from iTunes? Zune Marketplace? Or some other music service that may have put DRM on the files? DRMed music will not show up or play in the Droid Music Player.
