Music player problem

Lately I've been having a problem with the music player app on my Droid X. I can start the music player and it opens and starts playing the song, but no sound comes out of the speakers. It isn't in silent mode. But, if I turn the phone off and then back on, it will work fine. I don't like having to restart my phone every time i want to listen to music.

Any ideas?

Instead of rebooting the phone, just Force Stop the music player
