Music thru car speakers

I transfered all of my music from my MP3 player to the Droid and have been using that in my car just like the old MP3 player(one less thing to carry). The only problem I am noticing is that a lot of the songs seem to play too much bass or something. It sounds like it is blowing out my speakers no matter how high or low the volume.

Is there an equalizer setting somewhere in the phone to control music??
