Music previously deleted from my sd card still shows up in Music player apps and whenever click, returns the message "unsupported format". How can I fix this?

Just resolved teh same problem yesterday

Me and another user just resolved our issues. My music would not update; deleted music would show and new music wouldn't be recognized. I posted what I did to resolve my problem. Good Luck
