So its Christmas day and undoubtedly there are a plethora of people getting new 'Droids for Christmas. What are some apps that you feel are must haves for Android? I've gotten questions from people with both tablets and phones; essentially they want to know, "What should I download?"

Well as you probably know it's going to vary greatly from person to person, but here's mine:

Angry Birds - Game
Bedside - Dock App
Beautiful Widgets
Crush the Castle - Game
Documents to Go - View & edit Microsoft documents
Dolphin Browser
Folder Organizer - Change Icons & Folders on screens
Fox News
Home Switcher
Hungry Shark - Game
Movies - Theaters, movie times, etc.
MyBookmarks - transfer your bookmarks to phone
Navigon - expensive, but best, navigation app
Noodles - lists, (To Do, etc.)
NPR News - Listen to your favorite NPR programs whenever you want to.
PhoneMyPC - control your pc from your phone
PowerAmp - Music
Pro Zoom Camera - replaces stock camera app
Sheep Launcher - Game
Solitaire - Game
Spare Parts - Utitily app
Tapatalk - very, very good forum reader - better than browser reading
The Weather Channel
xScope Browser - the best browser for android (IMHO!!):)

Nice list there. I probably should post my list as well. Here's what I can't live without:

Astro File Manager
Angry Birds
Dropbox
Facebook
Astrid
AudioManager
Barcode Scanner
Dolphin Browser
Evernote
Live Hold 'em Poker
Mint.com
Spades (free)
Sudoku Daily
Ringdroid
Rings Extended

There are so many similar threads that I don't usually respond but because it's Christmas I'll give you the one must have app that they didn't include: Screebl. Just get it, there's a video that will describe what it is and how to use it.

keepscreen will do the same as screebl.

i would recommend Quick Settings. It's nice consolidation of options into one app. Check it out.

screebl (must have for sure)
Zeam launcher (imho the best launcher - fast, no lag, for function the best)
Handcent
Beautiful Widgets
Dolphin Browser
Easy Money
Jorte
Our Groceries (syncs shopping lists between the wifes and my android phones)
pageonce personal assistant
vlingo
weatherbug elite

Score mobile
Launcher pro
Angry birds
Apps organizer
Power amp
Pulse
Dolphin HD
Beautiful widgets
Catch
