Hello, I have had my phone for a month or two and managed to download a few good apps and games

But what I was wondering is what are some of the MUST HAVE apps and games out there for android?

I am not looking for anything specific like organizers or whatever, just good apps to have that you find yourselfs using alot

Thanks :greendroid:

Lookout Mobile Security, Beautiful Widgets, Sportstap, Firefox (probably gonna get flamed for that one), Advanced Task Killer, History Eraser, Droidforums app, Astro File Manager.

If you're rooted Droid Wall and Titanium Backup Pro are awesome.

The two that I use the most are Jorte (free calendar app), and my Launcher Pro + widgets for Twitter & Bookmarks.

No lookout, no firefox, no ATK, some other good ones, audiomanager, battery left widget, launcher pro + or colorize widgets

The apps that I used most frequently are:

EasyMoney - to track expenses and plan budgets for managing my finances
Handcent - to send messages because I can't pass a day without sending one
Whatsapp - to share pictures with others
Dolphin Browser - to surf the Net when my laptop is NA.
AppAware Best App Market - to check out what app are android users downloading and is there any worth checking out

My favorites and ones I use often:

K-9 Mail
Miren Browser (Dolphin Mini is fine if you don't care about flash)
AlarmDroid
Shush! Ringer Restorer
ZDBox (has some nice widgets and a quick uninstaller)
Pandora
Catch Notes (for those random moments where you really need to remember something)
DroidForums App
Jorte
Y5 Battery Saver (turns on wifi when near recognized networks)
YellowPages App
SMS Popup (I prefer this to using Handcent or GoSMS)

Oh, and Angry Birds...:)

Ones that I use all the time (or have used to make my phone what it is)

LauncerPro
Widget Locker
Make Your Own Clock Widget
Battery Left
Executive Assistant
Beautiful Widgets
Handcent
Google Voice
Pure Calendar Widget
Live Scores
Folder Organizer
Tasker
Multiframe (since the Picture Frame from HTC isn't usable in LP, and there is no native Android one)

Tasker, Handcent, LauncherPro, Widget Locker, and Pure Calendar are must-haves for me. Still trying out LiveScores, but it seems to be a massive improvement over ESPN's ScoreCenter.

My favs other than some that have been listed already are Wunderadio,Cache cleaner,Tubemate and if you are into weather like me weathergeek Pro,Chaser TV Ultimate Radar. Also Love TIKL touch to talk me and my wife use that app a lot.Faster than calling or texting her and it don't use your minutes.

For the touch to talk app, if your phone is on silent can people still call?

I,m not sure. I haven't tried that. When you get a que to talk you hear a doorbell ring.It means some one is calling for you.
