Hi All,
Something weird happened with my Droid X and I had to re-enter some settings for email - both my gmail accounts and my AOL account.
The gmail account synced up OK, but it didn't allow me to set up my AOL account. Weird part is when I try to add the account, it says, "This account has already been added". Yet it doesn't show anywhere in my email accounts. Thus I can't delete it!
I also tried deleting the cache in the email apps and pulling the battery to no avail.
Also weird is that every so often, I get an AOL "Authentication Error" that just pops up. So it sounds like my AOL account info is SOMEWHERE, but I'll be darned if I can find it.
And yes, I know I can do a factory reset - but I only want to do that as a last resort.
For now, I am using K9 email client which is working fine for my AOL account, but I sure would like to fix it on my Android email system.
Any Ideas??
Thanks all...
