My Droid and the UK

Hello all.

I am headed to the Uk in October. Primarily London but some small amounts of travel outside the city.

I have a DX2 and I understand that my VZw account doesn't allow me to use the phone aspect of the device but i am thinking that the wifi and skype will be of use.

Am I correct? I imagine there will be a relatively frequent occurrence of free wifi throughout the city.

Anyone live there or been there that could share some insight and or advise me on how to best capitalize on accessibility while away?

DX2 is not a world phone, so there is no GSM radio and the phone won't connect to the cellular network there. However, it will still function if you connect to a WiFi network.
