That's what you can tell your iPhone-loving friends who claim superiority over the Droid. Apple admits it used child labor to build the iPhone as well as the iPad. This could put a dent in Apple's iPad sales. I won't buy one!

Hold on there, partner. The factories that Apple uses are also used by a variety of other PC and phone manufacturers. This story that's going around is sort of odd, because it's making Apple out to be somehow worse that other companies that use these same factories-although Apple seems to be the only company that ever audited several of factories and is the only one to have gone public with the results of what they found.

The difference here is that Apple actually did an audit, took corrective action and went public with the findings.

I'm still trying to find a similar audit from HP, Dell, etc.

as long as my damn products are built and put together right! no but really thats true many other companies probably have this going on but its never brought to light
