My Gallery App is uninstalled?

When I try to launch the Gallery app that came with the Droid I receive a message that it is not installed. I do not seem to remember uninstalling it. Can it be reinstalled? Has this happened to anyone else?

drag the app/icon into the trash then reset it on the homescreen.
