I just got my droid2 and every time I turn it off and on my keyboard does not light up.? I can't see at night. Does anybody know why this happens or how to fix it?
Hmmm, are you using an old AC charger? They can destroy your op system - even if they have what seems to be the right connector for your Droid2. Happened to mine 2 days after purchasing. Fortunately, Verizon replaced the phone with no fee (did not have to use the phone ins.) Anyone know why an AC charger with the small usb connector from 2 yrs ago (my last LG phone) would do that? I've read others have had the same problem but have not seen an explanation posted. Do they maybe overheat/over charge?
If the charger is what ruins the operating system, I may be having a similar problem. It's just messing up other programs instead. I have borrowed the USB cord from both a pre-droid phone and from a recent palm. My friend's older phone will not charge on the palm charger, but mine will. Her phone gave her an error message saying it would damage the older phone, but I have not heard of older chargers messing up newer phones?
