my phone deletes my text messages randomly

I updated to 2.1 and was hoping that it would fix it but my phone randomly will delete all my text conversations and start with a completely new slate. Its getting a little annoying. Any ideas?

its a bug that hasnt been fixed yet

in the meantime, use sms backup. it utilizes ur gmail account to back your sms texts
