I have been rooted for about 6 months and never had an issue. The other day i flashed LithiumMod, rebooted, and then "install update" came across the screen which i allowed :icon_evil:.

1 now in terminal emulator when i type su it says DENIED!!!

2 su permissions app is just a black screen

3 no apps can gain root acess.....they either say cant gain root access or failed in attempting to run priveleged commands.

4 rom manager will not let me flash recovery

also i downloaded a oneclick root just to verify if i was rooted and it says i am

HELP ME PLEASE IM GOING CRAZY

THANKS

yeah

rom manager wont let me flash anything....i tried fixing permissions, flashing sprecovery, flashing older clockworkmods, they all say cant run priveleged commands

and i believe the update was the 2.2 update for the droid

First, the oneclick root programs are unrealiable. They have told many people that they were rooted when in fact they were not. Unfortunately for you, when you accepted the update, you lost root. Your best bet (and I know you will not like to here this) is to re-root your phone. I would strongly suggest you follow the link in my signature since you now have the 2.2 update. Since you have been through this before I am sure you will be able to follow. Sorry I do not have better answers for you.

cool

i know the oneclicks are problematic...i just wanted a way to verify if i was rooted...

so basically all is good im just not rooted anymore?

because i still have the su permissions ninja app
