My phone is updating, but, I have no idea to what...

So, I just clicked ok, on this manual update that popped up on my home screen. I currently have ics, and the update gave me a number like 4.4 (...) and I have no idea what that means. It doesn't say JB or anything else
I was uber excited about JB, but don't wanna lose my pdanet/foxfi... Ideas?
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

How big is the update? Its most likely JB 4.1.2. If you were already on ICS its the next step.

As far as I know pdanet and foxfi don't work on JB for the RAZR. If you want to avoid the update after downloading clear your cache in stock recovery.

Thanks a bunch! It is jb. I'm both overjoyed and saddened. Are there any other wifi hotspots that work for jb?

I don't have the RAZR but you could try searching the play store for one and see if they work. You'll need root most likely.

Maybe someone with more info can step in.

It's pretty easy on the RAZR, just search around the forums and there should be links to how to do so.

I don't believe FoxFi will work regardless, though I'm not 100% on that.

Someone mentioned a no-root Wireless Hotspot (internet sharing), downloadable app method but for the life of me, I can't find it. I'll keep looking and probably post a thread.
