Call verizon wireless. If they think the phone has issues they will send a replacement

That was the most difficult to read post I've ever seen. Learn proper grammar, and use periods and capital letters. Don't use run on sentences. Seriously, reading that post was painful...

Anyone with this problem check the System Logs yet?
The software might output something in the logs that might indicate what the problem is that caused the device to power down.
One can install and use something like aLogcat.

The following things solved my reboot problem. Not sure which it was.

Deleted old files and folders from my sd card.

Moved all apps to phone storage.

Froze music app using bloat freezer in the android market.

Reboot

Unfroze music app.

I haven't had a reboot on about a month.

Phone turning off seems a little more serious than phone rebooting.

I agree with Natey2 that the rebooting is an known issue from the last firmware update. The phone competely turning off is something else. Either way Verizon is offering to replace your phone if you do not want to wait for the fix on the rebooting issue or in cisco84's case shutting down. I am hoping for GB sooner than later. The last I heard it should be to the Thunderbolt owners by the end of June.

Have the same issue...basically we are screwed.

Verizon will send u a refurbished phone that will have the same problems.

I'm on my 3rd phone now....in the end they will tell u that u have to "deal with it" until HTC releases a fix...that's if they can fix it.

Whatever you do don't get a replacement. Your phone is fine... It will be fixed soon. If you get a refurbished you will be getting someone else's problems. The replacement phone won't be any better either.

I would do a "factory data reset" if I were you.

Some phones are like Draft Dodgers: they know how to avoid those sneaky Verizon updates :^)

Mine gets drafted, I mean, updated every time.
