Navigation app destinations

Can you delete destinations out of the navigation app when you no longer need them or added them by mistake?

You can go to manage applications and clear the data but it wipes all of then out. You have to go to maps and wipe the data. It pretty much defeats the purpose of googles new caching systemin maps though.
