Navigation not working HELP!

Hey guys, had this issue in 1.9.0 and still having it after installing and reinstalling 1.9.5. When opening navigation, it hangs on a pop up window saying "checking navigation availability". Gps works for location-based services ie weather, browser, etc. Last time I used the nav was before I sbf'd and took the .340 ota. Any ideas/solutions? Hitting the road in a bit at work and no pc access til tonight.TIA

All you need to do is start Maps (not nav) and Get directions to somewhere and that will activate navigation to work

bring up directions by pressing menu button and click directions... Then enter end point...
This will bring up nav and you will be able to open nav direct from now on

+1 yup thats what i did and it worked fine since.

That's weird, I was heading to Newark Delaware today and had the same problem with my nav
