Nearly Universal ROOT For Motorola Devices

Root allows us to really take control of our devices. Lately OEMs have begun to show that they would like to take the ability to root our devices away. XDA member "rootdefyx320" has posted a guide that will help you root lots of Motorola devices. This method works specifically on devices that use SBF flashing. The method involves downloading and unpacking an SBF, building your own CWM image, and using SuperSU to obtain root. This method has been tested and is working on many Moto devices including Motorola Defy Mini XT320, FIRE XT311, XT316, XT530, XT531, and the Motoluxe XT615.
