Need a GPS app that automatically adds waypoints

Hi,
I need an Android app that will add a waypoint to a KML file automatically on a variable time frame (once every 5 or 10 minutes, etc). Seems like a pretty simple request that would be filled by some of the better known apps out there like Maverick, WayPoint, etc. Unfortunately, with these apps you have to manually press an icon to add a waypoint. Anybody know of something that does what I'm asking?
Thx
Joe

google tracks will do it. it recordes a route and collects all kinds of data,.... errr maybe not. it will set a waypoint each time you change direction and at certain intervals of which im not sure.

I just installed Aripuca Tracker because it had the fewest bogus permissions. You can set segments by any distance or any time period. I have no idea how well it works but it got a fix pretty quick, though only +/- 25m.
