Hello, I'm a first time poster, long time lurker, and I need some help. I have had my Droid 2 since last August and recently my digitizer began to fail. This extended screen failure from my back button to about and inch up the screen. I am sending my phone in for replacement.
The current problem is that though I have replaced everything to stock and unrooted with z4root is that when I do a factory reset, it resets to a rooted phone. It specifically says it cannot find the factory reset file. I have no idea what to do.
I have dabbled in RDS or RSD lite and it always gives me a failure to flash error after getting to the bootscreen. Can anyone help? If there is no solution what is the worst that can happen if I send in my phone and they find it to be rooted after they send me a replacement? Also, do they perform a factory reset when I send my phone in?
and sorry mods if I put this in the wrong place
Any help would be appreciated!!
