Need a tethering app for ICS

I have been using wifi tether with my x2 for a long while but I recently rooted my NOVO7 Paladin running 4.03 and it will not connect to wifi tether.

I tried auto and ad-hoc. Different channels, ip addresses, encrypted, and I must be missing something. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
