Need answers about rooting stuff

First of I know very little about hacking my phone. Several months ago I installed z4root and rooted my phone. I also downloaded 3 other programs in a package deal thing. I can't remember all the names but I think 1 was called ragethecage or some thing. This is where I ran into problems. I can't remember if just 1 or all of them failed to install. ( I can get the names later, they are on my computer) so I erased the programs and un-rooted. I could reinstall the programs and try again to see with ones worked if any.
My question now is, with the possibility of eta GB coming. Have I done any thing that would prevent me from getting it? Is there a way to tell? And if so how do I fix? Thanks in advance

if all you did was root, if you didnt bootstrap, and if you didnt freeze or remove any off the stock apps or "bloatware" then you should be fine so long as youre unrooted
